Product Description |
| Brewing just one cup of tea is easy with the personal The de Chine infuser set. The infuser fits right into the the included cup. Just add your loose leaf tea, pour in hot water, and let the tea steep to your liking. When you are finished brewing , the included lid acts as a trivet for the used infuser, or as a lid for the cup that will help keep your tea warm. This item is great when you don't want to brew a full pot. The de Chine Personal infuser is great for the office, home, or as a gift. |

My new favorite mug!

| This little cup is wonderful for lovers of loose tea. I have to disagree with another reviewer who found it hard to clean the little slits on the bottom; I have had absolutely no trouble with this - a couple of quick rinses gets all the tea leaves out, and none have become impossibly stuck. I really love the design - especially that you can remove the inner glass with the wet tea leaves and place it into the lid - no more waiting around by the sink to dump out the tea leaves after steeping, I can just bring the whole thing to the table as soon as I pour the water in. It is also very delicate and attractive. Truly a wonderful product! |
NOT hard to clean.

I got a Da Chine teapot and I love it! When I purchased, I was only able to read one other product review online about it and it complained about bits of tea getting stuck in the filter and they sent theirs back. I didn't pay attention to the warning, and I'm glad that I didn't. The solution to the filter problem is simple and I love being able to watch my tea brew through the layers of glass! The wrong way: fill filter with tea, and pour water through the filter - this forces bits into the holes. The solution is to simply fill the cup with hot water and fill the filter with tea, then put the filter into the pot. This way no leaves are forced into the holes and clean up is easy. Even when you do it the wrong way, it's not hard to unstick stuck leaves with a kitchen brush. Love it. |
Love it!!

Boo Hoo, I just broke my barely month old set and am here to buy another...maybe two.
I have had no trouble getting any leaf unstuck from the slits after use. A few quick rinses did the trick...any wider and the leaves would end up in the cup, which I just hate.
The only design decision I question is why they put a pouring lip on a single user cup. I surely am not going to brew my cup of tea and then pour it into another to drink it, so why have it at all. |
Some people are way too miserable to be tea drinkers!

1. I woen janear version of this. I will buy this because jenaer is no where to be found.
Now. about the lid. I LOVE IT! You can't expect a suction cup fit.. it is glass of course it's goign to rattle.. HELLO???
1) slits are small tiny infact but my green tea can slide through and SOMETIMES ( 1 cup in ever 10 ) can dangle from the slit. This is fine but never have had an occasion where I can't get it out.. this is impossible unless the people here do not knwo how to do dishes. Ladies, what do you do when something is hard to clean? SOAK IT! I rarely have to soak this though.. just run it under hot water for a few seconds ( perhaps while water is boiling for a new cup ) I just run it under the pull the green tea leaf out. it slides right through.. nothing dramatic.. i can usually just pick it out with my fingers. don't need a business card!
to clean I use a paper napkin ( I use it at work and can't possibly imagine using the bacteria laden sponge there ) it gets the infuser clean.
I do not use the glass.. I have a larger porcelain mug. but love the ifnuser.
This is perfect for those who dislike metal infusers.. and all the rigamoro(sp) of pot to tea to sink of makign loose tea. If you're lazy like me but love ur tea.. this will be your new best friend.. you can leave the tea in the lid until you're ready for a new cup! glass is durable and can be cleaned.. no rust from the metal and no scare of melting plastic or heating plastic in steaming tea.. I love this style and am mor ethan happy to buy more if this happens to break.. it's been a year and I haven't broken it but in case I do I want another one ready to go so there's no waiting for shipping! woo hooo! |
The best tea infuser set around

This tea cup infuser set is just perfect for me. No more wasteful tea bags! Bodum uses the clearest, thinnest, lightest, and STRONGEST glass to create an exquisite tea experience. Watch the tea leaves dance in the cup, the water bead on the glass lid, sip from a china-weight sturdy cup.
When it comes to asthetic appreciation and pure drinking please, this tea cup is the only way to go! |
