Product Description

Offering a 4-cup capacity, this distinct tea maker gives users total control over the brewing process. Since each tea drinker has a favorite level or shade of brewing tea, the unit offers a patented brewing selector switch where the tea can be stopped from brewing while it continues to keep warm. In addition, the unit's cordless design makes it simple to bring brewed tea to the table for serving guests. Other highlights include a generous handle and a drip-free spout for graceful pouring and non-slip feet to ensure secure placement on the counter. The unit fills and cleans easily, and a cleaning brush comes included. The tea maker measures approximately 7 by 8 by 9 inches and carries a one-year warranty.

works good

Reviewer: Franck Derunes,
I was not sure when I started using it if that it was working well, but it was a matter of time, waiting for the water to go through the top takes a while (3 minutes...?)
Other than that, it works great as it supposes to do.
And price is reasonable.
It makes and keeps the tea HOT/BUT I had some troubles. Give it 3 stars instead.

Addendum to 5 star review:

I bought it in July and by August the coating was peeling from the bottom of the kettle. I contacted customer service via the email through their website. Customer service was excellent and I received a replacement quickly.

Apparently, this is the first they've heard of such a problem.

If there is a defect, be prepared to pay for shipping and handling for returns. It adds eleven or more dollars to the price. I don't feel the customer should pay anything additional for a manufacture defect.
I hope my new kettle has no problems.

Earlier review:

Tea strength is adjusted by how much tea is used. It percolates (boiling temperature) water through the filter tray (two different mesh baskets included-one is a finer mesh). The temperature of the water makes a big difference in taste. It does a good job with both bagged and loose teas as well as herbals. I used some of my higher quality (i.e. more expensive teas) and the results were good. Just know your tea and how much to put in. Remember to put it on "warm" mode once it's made the tea. It does a thirty second reheat without steeping the tea again. I wouldn't let tea sit for more than an hour or more. I did it and the tea was a bit stronger. Just like coffee sitting in a pot too long, tea is best when fresh.

Safety wise, it's a winner for me. I have kids, so no boiling kettle to worry about. If you don't have kids, no worry about a kettle boiling dry. This tea maker has a safety shut off.

I LOVE that it is cordless.

Getting the basket into the carafe can be tricky at first, but I've gotten the hang of it. You have to line up the baskets with the carafe near the handle and then the stem connects to the bottom.

Reviewer: James S. Duncan,
Works well as a hot water heater. Does not percolate well over the tea bags resulting in very weak tea no matter now many bags you put in. Turns itself off before the tea has had time to steep. I received this as a gift and would not recommend it to anyone.
Back to the drawing board...!

The Worst....It's and old fashioned percolater. The keep warm cycle does not work. It just keeps percing and destroys your expensive tea. I am using it because I paid for it, but I hate it.
Piece of Junk

I should have listened to some other reviewers. I wanted a replacement for my ever-leaking Zarafina. This isn't it. It is a cheaply made percolator with a bell and a whistle. The only adjustment you can make is the amount of tea you place in the basket and with full leaf tea it is almost impossible to determine. Don't waste your money.
